Allegro Demand Management Solution

Sockeye's Allegro Demand Management solution enables users to generate forecasts for finished goods (items with independent demand). The forecasts are used to drive operational planning of the outbound supply chain. The solution also supports consensus forecasting to promote alignment between sales and operations.

Allegro Demand Management includes the following modules:

Forecast Modeling

Allegro Demand Management makes it easy for users to aggregate shipment history to forecasting level and smooth data to account for outliers and events. Once a "clean" history has been created, users modify forecast parameters to define the best fit algorithm for use in generating operational forecasts. Allegro Demand Management supports algorithms including: moving average, exponential smoothing, exponential trend and seasonal smoothing (Holt-Winter) and Crostons.

Forecast Generation

This Allegro Demand Management module allows users to evaluate past events, create/maintain future events and to generate operational forecasts.

Consensus Forecasting

The Consensus Forecasting features in Allegro Demand Management allow forecasters to review and negotiate the operational forecast with sales. The forecast is automatically converted to a convenient format for sales (e.g. period, product, location, units). Any changes made by sales are then converted back to an operational forecast format.
