Supply Chain Planning & Execution Solutions

Allergo Inbound Supply Chain Planning

Sockeye Supply Chain’s Allegro Inbound supply chain planning solution is focused on providing the visibility and decision support to manage the replenishment of parts inventory from suppliers to manufacturers.
Allegro Inbound supports multiple replenishment methods based on the type of supplier/buyer relationship (e.g. strategic vs. nonstrategic), who has primary responsibility for replenishment planning and whether the part is critical/constrained or non-strategic.

The following Allegro Inbound modules can be combined and adapted as partner relationships evolve:

Inventory Visibility & Monitoring

Maintain near real-time projection of inventory for any network location with Allegro Inbound. Your projected inventory is automatically recalculated and compared to minimum and maximum inventory targets when a supply or demand event is received. Exception alerts are generated when problems occur. You can also simulate changes to supply and demand to view the potential impact on projected inventory. Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly periods are supported as well as telescoping horizons.

Purchase Order Negotiation

Allegro Inbound supports on-line negotiation of discrete and blanket purchase orders between buyers and suppliers. This includes user configurable negotiation processes and allowable actions. All negotiation steps are logged, and processes are supported with exception alerts.

Forecast Commit Process

Allegro Inbound makes it easy for buyers to provide long range forecast for parts and for suppliers to make commitments against the forecast. This process is supported with simulation capabilities, system recommended commitments and exception alerts.

Supplier Managed Replenishment

Using Allegro Inbound, your supplier monitors inventory at the manufacturing site and maintains projected parts inventory between minimum and maximum inventory targets. Correspondingly, buyers can maintain demand projections (consumption plans) and inventory targets, while suppliers make firm shipment commitments. The process is supported with simulation capabilities, system recommended shipments, commitment change process and exception alerts. As an example of a typical process flow the following chart describes SMR workflow with Blanket PO Releases.

Dynamic Replenishment

Agent based automated replenishment is simple with Allegro Inbound. Projected parts inventory is monitored at both supplying and consuming sites. A projected inventory issue will trigger an agent to automatically generate a new shipment plan to resolve the problem. If the agent is unable to resolve the problem within a user-defined set of policies and constraints, alerts will be triggered to buyers or suppliers (depending on problem) for manual intervention.

ASN & GRN Tracking

Advance Ship Notices (ASN) and Goods Receipt Notices (GRN) can be imported into Allegro Inbound or entered manually on-line. Exception alerts can also be issued for late shipments, overdue intransits and ASN/GRN mismatches.

Returns Management

Allegro Inbound supports an effective Return Material Authorization (RMA) process between buyers and suppliers. Return notices that are entered on-line can automatically update projected inventories. Suppliers specify a fix plan and a schedule of shipments back to the buyer. This process is supported by exception alerts.
