Sockeye's Allegro Outbound supply chain planning solution is focused on planning and monitoring the movement of finished goods inventory through the outbound supply chain.

For operations planning, Allegro Outbound simplifies the creation of constraint-based production and shipment plans to synchronize supply and demand. For execution, Allegro Outbound provides the visibility and decision support to monitor and resolve problems caused by day-to-day disruptions to production, shipment and inventory plans.

Inventory Visibility & Monitoring

Maintain near real-time projection of inventory for any network location with Allegro Outbound. Your projected inventory is automatically recalculated and compared to minimum and maximum inventory targets when a supply or demand event is received. Exception alerts are generated when problems occur. You can also simulate changes to supply and demand to view the potential impact on projected inventory. Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly periods are supported as well as telescoping horizons.

Demand Propagation

Allegro Outbound’s agent-based solver propagates demand through the network based on a set of user defined policies and constraints. The Allegro Outbound agent generates optimized shipment plans to satisfy each location’s need for inventory to support local demand, inventory targets and downstream shipments. The Allegro Outbound agent can be triggered to run in batch mode at scheduled intervals, or on-demand.

Production Planning

Allegro Outbound’s agent based solver generates an ideal production plan based on the supply location’s need for inventory to satisfy local demand, inventory targets and downstream shipments. Items are initially loaded on preferred resources, and exception alerts are triggered when a constraint is violated. Allegro Outbound also supports a plan approval process between corporate planners and plant personnel. The plan is monitored against actual and scheduled production, and exception alerts are generated when deviations are outside an acceptable range. This process is supported with simulation capabilities and exception alerts.

Supply Allocation

Allegro Outbound’s agent based solver allocates the supply of constrained inventory through the network based on user-defined policies. Fair-share, hierarchy and percentage allocation polices are all supported by Allegro Outbound. The Allegro Outbound agent can be triggered to run in batch mode at scheduled intervals, or on-demand.

Constrained Resource Projections

This Allegro Outbound module generates a projection of constrained resources based on the current operational plans. Any resource such as part, capacity, container, staffing, vehicles, etc can be flagged as a constraint and reported on.
